The Ten House - Four Bedroom Home
Set amidst rolling hills and forestry in South County Wicklow. This delightful, spacious and bright 4 bed house is set in a very special 18th century courtyard on a working farm. The property is situated on Munny Farm the home of the late Christabel Bielenberg a bestselling author. There is a rich history both in the farm which Gladstone visited as a model farm and with the family. We have also got a beautiful equestrian trail where people bring their own horses on holidays here and go glamping here in Www.theoldforgeglamping.ie.
At the 10 House a large kitchen and sitting room has French doors opening to the beautiful indoor cut granite bbq area and private courtyard. The back of the house looks out to a beautiful model farmyard currently being used for stabling horses, a green house and a beautiful friendly farmyard space. The front of the house has a beautiful picture window looking out to stunning scenery. This window was featured on RTE's The Great House Revival Show and architect Hugh Wallace helped Belinda and Lorcan design the barn conversion.
The space
There is a private car park . There is a dining area outside and another dining area in the kitchen. A beautiful wood burning stove in the main living area & underfloor zoned heating. The house has a well equipped kitchen.The house has 4 bedrooms. 3 bedrooms are in the house and one bedroom is conjoined but through a separate outside door.
The kitchen has a large fridge with smaller freezer compartment. There is a toaster, kettle good size oven with 5 hobs, plenty of dishes and glasses, mugs etc. There is no coffee machine but there is a coffee plunger.

Car is essential - rural location - no public transport
Other things to note
This is a working farm with sheep, hens, horses, ponies, dogs and cats.

A 10-minute drive to Rathwood Maze; Altamont Gardens 15 minutes

The spectacular location is what makes the Old Forge Glamping so very special. Near Tinahely in County Wicklow, the site overlooks woodlands and offers gorgeous panoramas to the Wicklow Mountains on the horizon.
Hot showers are found within traditional farm buildings and a converted tractor shed reveals a games room with card and pool tables. The old coach house next-door has been lovingly redeveloped as a communal camping kitchen with a stove, oven and hob cooker, dishwasher machine, and everything you need to rustle up meals.
You can also grill up a delicious barbecue (you’ll need to bring charcoal) in the private garden right outside your glamping unit, and inside each one is stylishly designed and well-kitted out for a really comfortable stay. All linen is provided but not towels.
Kids have the freedom to run around safely in the woods and fields, as well as making friends with the sheep, donkeys, and ponies that graze close by – not forgetting the ducks and hens. Groups of friends or family are welcome to meet up in several hang-out areas with different vibes around the place, including a secret bar in the woods.
Some practicalities: there are brochures in the local area in the communal kitchen, which is open from 7 am until 11 pm.
