FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) for Glampers

Here we answer all your FAQ or frequently asked glamping questions and below we have an FAQ on riding the Munny Trail.

1.What are the glamping toilet facilities like?

The Old Forge Glamping has three tastefully decorated toilets suitably distanced from the social areas, which include:  flushing toilet in each, wash hand basin, fresh hand towel and hand soap, a mirror and ample privacy. All our bathroom facilities have been designed to be private, spacious and comfortable, as we know this is important to our customers.

2. How many toilets and showers are on-site?

There are 3 (flushing toilets) and 2 hot showers in total on the glamping site. Two toilets and a shower are situated next to La Cabane Outdoor Covered Campsite ‘Hang Out’ Area and another toilet and shower are located next to the Glampers Kitchen area.

3. Where can I cook food? We have a fully equipped kitchen

Is the glamping site quiet at night? After 11pm we ask that guests be mindful of others who may be trying to sleep nearby, especially families with young children. We recommend moving to the outdoor glamping areas away from the Glampers kitchen and Games Room and keeping noise at a respectful level when others are around.

4. Is there a self-catering kitchen on site?

Yes, our Glampers Kitchen comes full equipped with all modern conveniences including: A wood-burning stove to keep the room cosy, 2 x refrigerators, kettle,  toaster, electric oven and hob cooker, microwave, pots and pans, crockery, cutlery, dish washing machine, brochures of how to explore the area and a TV

5. Is there a BBQ on site?

Yes, we have 2 communal BBQs on-site for glampers to use, one next to the Glampers Kitchen and the other at the Campsite ‘Hang Out’ area. The Log Cabin, Shepherds Hut and Safari tent also has their own private BBQs on site.

6. Is there a play area and activities on site for kids?

Yes, we have a lovely outdoor play area with swings and climbing areas for kids in La Cabane outdoor ‘Hang out’ area with giant Jenga and Mölkky, a game that requires both skill and precision, but also a strategical mindset! We also have an indoor Games Room with a pool table and games next to the Glampers Kitchen, especially great for rainy days.
