Are you looking to organise a family reunion, a roundy birthday celebration, a club outing, or simply just get away with a group of friends?
Munny Farm has accommodation for up to forty people on site. Accommodations vary from our two beautiful self-catering barns which sleep six and eight respectively, our three yurts which sleep four respectively, our shepherd's hut sleeping two, our log cabin sleeping up to five and our safari tent sleeping up to five.
We have several outdoor and indoor areas with comfortable seating and bbq's. La Cabane is a large covered terrace area at the glamping where you can sit and look out on the rolling Wicklow hills and a panoramic view of County Carlow. As the venue is set on a Georgian farm you will enjoy seeing our sheep, ponies, and horses grazing close by.
There is the option to book just the glamping which sleeps up to twenty-two people or else book the glamping combined with one or two of the self-catering barns. If you have a mixture of ages you may find that some prefer an experience with a house and en suite bathrooms and some prefer to be out in nature enjoying the great outdoors. Whichever the preference we can accommodate both.
Here is a list of our accommodations:
Three Yurts complete with heating stoves, a double bed, and 2 single beds in each all complete with bed linen. Each yurt has an outdoor firepit, bbq, seating area, and stunning views. Please note you will need to bring towels. Please also note they are not ensuite and the nearest loo and shower is approximately 15 to 25 steps away. The yurts are the ideal spot for stargazers and nature lovers. You will have full access to the glamping kitchen which has a wood-fired stove, seating for up to twenty people, an oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, and all your necessities.
The Safari Tent is named the safari tent as it looks out to our old wood which is teeming with birdlife. Picture yourself opening back your canvas door and lying in your bed with a cup of coffee listening to the sounds of unfiltered nature. In the safari tent is a double bed, two single beds, and the option of another single bed so this is suitable for families of up to five people. It has bed linen but again you need to bring your towels. It is set in a private walled garden and has its own fire pit, bbq, and seating area. You have full access to the glamping kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher, plates, cutlery, glassware, and woodburning stove.
The Log Cabin is an open plan log cabin with a double and two single beds, it also has the option of an extra bed for the fifth person. It comes with full linen, heating, an outdoor fire pit, bbq, and a campfire. You will need to bring towels. This is very close to La Cabane which is our large outdoor covered terrace. The log cabin has very beautiful views over the hills.
The Shepherds Hut is a stunning choice for couples. This unique accommodation was originally designed for shepherds who would need to stay with their herd. The chassis was hand-beaten in Norfolk and it comes with solid oak floors, a wood-fired stove, an elevated double bed and absolutely breathtaking views. There is a bbq, campfire pit and seating outside. You have full bed linen but please bring along towels. You also have full access to the glamping kitchen and all that it offers by way of creature comforts.
The Granary barn is our three-bedroom barn. This has two double bedrooms and a twin bedroom with full bed linen and towels provided. It comes with oil-fired central heating and a wood-fired stove which combined with its original wooden beams and granite features creates a beautiful atmosphere. There is an outdoor patio area.
The Ten House is our four-bedroom barn conversion which was featured in the 'Great House Revival Show' on RTE. Again this is a stunning space with all the original barn features, wood fired stove, underfloor geothermal heating, a luxury bathtub, ensuite shower rooms, and much more. The really elegant part of this is that it has a covered outdoor area complete with a large patio table and bbq.
